These pages explain our normal working process. A signed quotation, pro forma invoice, specification and sales contract may set different terms and will control the order.
1. Who this policy covers
This policy applies when a visitor uses wufengteas.com, sends a quotation or sample request, emails us, calls us or communicates through a listed business-contact channel. It covers personal information about identifiable people, including business representatives.
2. Information we collect
- Company name, country or market, contact name where supplied, business email and optional telephone number.
- Product interests, grades, sample choices, quantity, destination, packing, Incoterm and written requirements.
- Technical data needed for security and operation, such as IP address, browser or device information, request time and server logs.
- Messages, attachments and subsequent records created while discussing a quotation, sample, factory visit or order.
Please do not submit identity documents, bank details, sensitive personal information or confidential formulas unless we specifically request them through an agreed secure channel.
3. Why we use the information
- To answer the inquiry and recommend products, samples, specifications, packing and shipment routes.
- To prepare quotations, verify business counterparties, prevent fraud and maintain website security.
- To establish, perform and document a B2B contract and comply with accounting, customs, food-safety and legal obligations.
- To protect or exercise legal rights and resolve quality, shipment or payment disputes.
Depending on the jurisdiction, the legal basis may be steps requested before a contract, performance of a contract, compliance with law, our legitimate interest in operating a secure B2B business, or consent where consent is specifically required. Sending an inquiry does not subscribe you to marketing.
4. Service providers and international processing
Our website is hosted on Alibaba Cloud infrastructure in Hong Kong, China. Inquiry notifications may pass through our business email provider. We may also share only the information reasonably needed with laboratories, couriers, freight forwarders, customs agents, banks, professional advisers or authorities when required for the requested service, contract or law.
Visitors outside China should understand that information may be processed in China, including Hong Kong. Where applicable law requires a transfer mechanism or additional safeguard, we will assess and apply the appropriate contractual, technical or organisational measure.
5. Retention
- Unsuccessful or inactive general inquiries: normally up to 24 months after the last meaningful contact.
- IP address and user-agent fields stored with an inquiry: normally removed or anonymised after 90 days unless required for an active security incident.
- Quotations that become orders, contracts, invoices, testing, customs or claim records: retained for the period required by applicable law and legitimate contract or dispute needs.
Information may be retained longer when reasonably necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims, investigate fraud, meet a legal hold or follow a buyer's documented compliance requirement.
6. Security
We use access controls, HTTPS, restricted server services, rate limiting and operational backups appropriate to the site. No internet transmission or storage method is completely secure. If a material incident affects submitted information, we will respond and notify affected parties or authorities where law requires.
7. Your choices and rights
Subject to applicable law, you may ask what information we hold, request correction or deletion, object to or restrict certain processing, withdraw consent where processing relies on consent, or complain to a competent authority. 8. Cookies and analytics
The current site does not use advertising cookies or third-party marketing analytics. Essential browser or server functions may still be used for security and delivery. If we introduce non-essential analytics or advertising tools, we will update this policy and add consent controls where required.
9. Children
This is a B2B website and is not directed to children. Do not submit a child's personal information.
10. Changes and contact
